Snow Landscape is a hanging scroll by Yosa Buson, a master of both haiku poetry and painting in eighteenth-century Japan. His landscape paintings drew on Chinese Southern School traditions while infusing them with a distinctly Japanese sensitivity to atmosphere and seasonal mood.
